Copperband Butterfly

Ive had one for 4 days now but I cant get him to eat prepared food. He's cleaned my tank of hundreds of feather dusters and worms. Ive also notice a decline in aiptasia since his arrival. If he doesnt start to eat Im thinking of returning him.

I didnt see your thread before I posted mine. I havent tried to feed yet, I will tonight. I hope it does well in my tank. They are a nice looking fish, but i have heard they are hard to keep.
Good luck to you .

My CBB (~2") was readily eating live brine in the store, so I bought him. He still eats live brine, but I pretty much switched over to mysis shrimp. He only likes PE brand mysis and gobbles it up regularly now.

I've got one, and I've had it for about 2-3 weeks.

Here is my feeding solution:

I took at mussel and opened enough that my CBB could get it's nose in, but none of my other fish could. I then rubberbanded to a nori clip and attached to the glass on my tank near where my CBB likes to frequent.

It didn't take it too long to find it's feeding zone.

On new days I've added new food: squid, mysis, blood worms, etc (still in that same shell).

I've had one for a few weeks now. He was eating PE mysis at the LFS and that's about all he'll eat with the exception of all my featherdusters. Hasn't touched the Aptasia. I tried bloodworms, but he didn't want those either.

Just got mine.. I see him pecking away at rocks etc...seen him eat some live brine , I dont have much aptaisia so cant comment on that yet...so far he swims around and appears happy and healthy...it has only been a few days thuogh...will keep you posted.
