Copperband feeding... Or lack there of...

Anyone had luck getting a copperband to eat? Mine was doing well, wouldn't eat any of the Frozen I put in the tank but he was grazing on my rock pretty heavy. I just put a yellow and a sailfin that were tank mates in a previous life, now my copperband it just chilling in the corner staring at the wall... Not sure if it's stressed from the new additions or if it's because he hasn't been eating. Let me know what you guys think.

I've had him for about 3 weeks, didn't qt since he was my first fish in the tank and didn't treat him with anything. Since he had been in the tank like I said he hasn't eaten any frozen just picking at rocks.

its sad to say i have gone through three copperbands. First one had velvet which started a very serious treatment / quientine plan for the future.

the other two were eating 100% fine. They were aggressive toward the food never seemed sick or anything visible. Then one day, they died.
I feed frozen foods along with dry foods (cant remember if they ate any dry food). mysis, spirulina mysis and blood worms
After reading on the forums this seems to be "common" where copperbands eat fine but are not getting exactly what they need as far as nutrition goes. I did notice on the last one (because i knew to look) it did seem to look skinny despite it eating once a day.

do some research, if i remember correctly they like clams (not 100% sure on that)

Yeah I looked at a few other threads, unfortunately he's gone now... First fish I got first one to die... I'd be lying if I said it didn't get me upset, I think I'll be waiting awhile to try another copperband.

Yeah they are supposed to love clams, live blackworms, blood worms, live brine shrimp, and from what I've read they like a longer tank to graze in.
