Copperband pacing

I recently added a copperband to my tank. This is an established fish, been in a friends tank for a while. I did not QT.

It has been a week now since adding and it paces the back glass nearly non stop.

It stops to eat, and eats well (frozen food)..

It also stops or does it less when I turn off the room lights.. lights in tank on and no lights in house on (after dark)..

Be patient? Or signs of stress or what? Thanks for your help.

Definitely signs of stress but hard to tell if that’s bc it isn’t acclimated or if it’s disease related. Since the fish is eating and eating well I would just wait it out and see if you notice any other behavior signs that may indicate disease (flashing, scratching, head shaking, mouth issues especially with butterflies, or something like hanging out in front of a powerhead)
