cora beauty

I picked up a coral beauty with my new tank, and I did not quarantine him because he was parasite free for 5 months already.... I am seeing a white mark on his upper head, and I can not tell if it is ich... do they tend to get cuts around there from the excessive pecking that they do? when do I decide its time to pull all the fish out and treat for ich? Just having a hard time identifying it

Angels are picking constantly. a pic would help but it's possible it is a nick. keep a close eye on him. If you see more whitle marks the it very likely is Ich and you'll need to make a decision on which treatment to perform.

mine would bonk himself on rocks all the time, then they'd heal up in a day or 2. If its one spot I'd just watch it, and make sure it heals. If you can get a better look at it, you should be able to figure out of its a bump or a parasite. If it starts shrinking from the outside in, its a bump. If you see more, its a parasite.

Yeah, I think its a bump because it is elongated and in just one area... kinda worried to get corals with this one in there.... he does not discriminate when pecking lol and goes on a rampage around the tank
