coral banded reef safe?

Is a coral banded shrimp reef safe (I have small fish, other shrimp, clams, and corals)? Can I prevent him from bothering anyone by keeping him well fed?

they are reef safe. although they may lunge at fish (of any size. my 16 inch eel is afraid of it) and they do tend to hunt other shrimps. but it gets along fine with my scarlet cleaner but it knows to move out of the way.

As far as corals I believe them to be reef safe. I never would have thought my coral banded would attack fish, but here recently he has attacked my clownfish everynight. It was only when he got big that he started to get so aggressive. I think that they are okay until their body reaches about 2 inches in length.

The pair I used to have harrassed several gobies to death, ate an anemone shrimp, and snaped at other swimming fish. The more active fish learned to stay away but the gobies just got bullied too much.

I would agree with everyone else. Mine does not bother my corals at all. My peppermint shrimp and cleaner shrimp just stay away from him. He will lunge at my fish but has never done any damage. He has even chased my 3 1/2 inch gold stripe maroon clown across his anemone!! They are very interesting shrimp. They just walk around with a big attitude. Quite fun to watch

Here's mine

Fine with corals. bit of a pain with fish, although they do show some cleaning tendances. skunk cleaners also harass fish but only to clean then. They won't harm a healthy fish. Mine as with 'salt newbie01' chases my female maroon, she usually moves out of the way until i tried it across her anemone, and got quite a painful looking whip of her tail which sent it across the tank.
