I have a 72gl tank..no crabs...just snails and the following shrimp for cleanup..(also have fish and corals)
Coral banded
Pistol
Fire
Peppermint.
I have noticed that the peppermint and fire shrimp (my most pricey speciman!) aren't coming out for feeding anymore. Is it possible that the coral banded shrimp (one HUGE shrimp!) did them in?
I hope not...I was told they would not bother one another:(
Thanks in advance!

That was like putting A lion in a cage with a pair of sheep.
Yep they have probably been consumed. I would call back the guy who gave you that Bogus info and give him hell.

BTW a large banded shrimp will soon start going after your fish and just about anything else it wants to eat.

wanted to add, I got the info from SF as well as the person at the LFS...they said it 'might harrass' but there is no mention of it actually destroying other shrimp...or eating other fish...what a bummer!

whats the name of the lfs that gave you that bogus info because i live in Wash d.c and i go to fs in NoVa and i am also looking to improve my clean up crew.I must mention i already have a Coral banded shrimp so i want to make sure i dont get fed the same bogus info.
