Coral Beauty and Potters

I would like to hear some experiences of Coral Beauty and Potter Angels in reef tanks. I just put in a Potters today and put a CB in quarantine.

Currently I have no corals (waiting on money to build LEDs) but plan to have a mostly SPS reef.

Thanks

I think you will be fine with both in a 240 gallon tank but I would add the CB with your lights out for at least 12 hours and rearange the rock work a little before turning the lights back on.

Introduction of fish with lights out is always a good idea.

Whoops I should have been
more specific. I was wondering about experience with corals. I know all centropyge can eat corals but are either of these especially troublesome?

Both of those Angels are very similar looking. So it maybe a issue with fighting??? Not sure about that tho. But I always go by the rule if same color, shape or size of existing fish there is a chance of conflict.

I do have potter angel in my 90 gallon. He gets along with everyone except him and my female clown some time posture towards each other. But only around the clowns host pulsing Xenia. Otherwise very peaceful.

I have had my potters in my main tank for about a month now. He does pick at some corals but I dont see any damage from it. I also had a flame but it would pick so much it would do damage to my acans so it had to go. I think it is going to be hit or miss with any angel.

Thanks for all the input guys. Love that pdf from the other thread. I really hope they work out when I eventually get corals. The CB is the most purple one Ive ever seen.

My coral beauty squares off with my largest clownfish but it is for king of the tanks pecking order. I don't think you will have any prorblem..
