Coral Beauty and Yellow Tang

Hello all! Wondering if anyone could help me out. Sunday I introduced a Yellow Tang to my aquarium which already had a Clown fish and a Coral Beauty. The Tang and Coral Beauty are not seeming to get along even though everything I have seen says they are compatible together. The Beauty seems to be the one who is more dominant towards the Tang. They "fight" with each other by way of whacking their tails at each other and really just don't seem to leave each other be in the tank (one follows the other around then the other follows the one around). I've seen the Beauty swim quickly at the Tang face first and sort of what looks like nip and him. Yesterday I came home from work and the Tang had a little piece(very small) taking out of it's top fin, which has seemed to been healed today when I got home from work.

Should I evict one of them from the tank or is there something else I could do?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

What size of tank?... a small tank can lead to aggression issues.

It's 75 gallons

Give them a few days and they should be able to work out there problems. If not, you may have to remove one. Every fish is different and sometimes its impossible to predict fish compatability. You could try moving some rock around (if you can) which might help calm the CB down. I really think they'll be fine once they get used to each other.

I have had a yellow tang and a coral beauty and a flame angel for years in a 90 gallon and had no problems with them. I just bought a Hawkfish and my yellow tang didn't like him at first but after a few days they are fine together. Good Luck

Well thats what I'm hoping for. I guess at least if they just keep batting their tails at each other noone can get too hurt.

Actually, that's how a tang can do the most damage!

+1... They hava a little spine back there to attack with. That is why their other name is Yellow Surgeonfish.

Everything was good for awhile, a few stare downs but nothing. Yesterday the coral beauty started attacking the tang at night. Now the tang is gone. But he was a little timid
