Coral Beauty Losing Scales

As the title suggests I have a Coral Beauty who is losing scales on its head/face, but otherwise appears healthy. She/he is a voracious eater, very active, none of the other fish are showing signs of disease and water quality is high. I recently had a couple of large two-banded rabbitfish in the tank but they have found a new home (larger tank). They were somewhat bullyish and my have have been causing the Coral Beauty some stress....sure time will tell if was stress, but are there any diseases out there that can cause a fish to lose their face scales?

Any thoughts anyone?

Many thanks.

Dropsy along with bulling can cause fish to loose their scales easily. If your fish does have dropsy, all of her/his scales will be popped up a little.

You should do an Internet search on HLLE or Head and Lateral Line Erosion. It sounds to me like your fish may have it.
