Coral Beauty Pair?

I really want a Coral Beauty pair and have been told by most of the LFSs in my area they don't ever see them.

So my question is what are the chances of "creating" a pair by just buying 2 small individuals? Is this even the best route to go size-wise? They would go into a 240 reef with 300 plus lbs of live rock. There are no other angels in the tank.

Thanks for any input.

Given the lack of input the idea is either crazy or no one has really tried it...

The more I read it seems getting a large and small fish seem to give the best chance.

Anyone have any input on other pygmies they have tried to pair?

Its like this with most angels. Just get a smaller fish and introduce him first. Then get a larger fish and introduce him after the smaller one has been established for a bit. This seems to be the best way to do it. However, its not a guarantee that it will work.

What seems to also help is if you have plenty of live rock and crevices for the fish to be able to hide and get away from each other if they need to.

I just paired up two regal angels. I did it the other way around (larger fish first) but I guess I just got lucky.
