Mine didn't stop with Xenia, it went after my brain, leather, Kenya trees, nipped at SPS, bullied my clowns away from their anemone, and chased two firefish to their death. And this was after six months of perfect behavior.
Both my flagfin and CB occasionally trim the tips off of a stalk of Xenia -- it doesn't seem to hurt the coral or even bother it. All four angels harassed my open brain, to the point where I had to move it to the 21g, but they don't bother anything else.
I know that this is a little off topic.....but.....
I just picked up a coral beauty on wednesday and havn't had any luck getting it to eat. I have tried two kinds of brine shrimp, mysis, and plankton all frozen. I also tried Formula One flake food. It acts hungry, snatches everything up...and promptly spits it out.
thanx guys. i bought a xenia the other day as well as a mushroom. when i was there my coral beauty didnt even go near it. however i left for a few hours and all of a sudden the xenia disappeared. oh well i guess i got the miss of the coral beauties.
jctewks ..it usually takes a while for them to eat. hopefully she starts soon. i feed mine mysis and flake food. she loves it.
