My chromis had this spot yesterday; slightly larger today. I recently added a frogspawn coral; the first coral in the tank with potent sweepers. Does this look like a coral burn or something else? Thanks in advance.
Anyone? I'd hate to do it, but I'm contemplating sending the fish to live on a farm. If the damage is fish/coral related it's one thing, but if the chromis is acting as a bacterial/viral incubator, out he comes.
The chromis was the first fish in the tank; it had been doing fine until just the other day, but I did add another wrasse last week. Either way, the fish has since perished. I guess I'll know soon enough if it died of something contagious.
