Coral color discussion

Hi Znut Reefer , I haven't heard of corals going brown due to fragging and can't imagine how fragging alone would cause browning but I will wait and see if people can confirm it or not. Thanks for your input.

250G, I have heard of too much light causing browning as returnofsid explained but I will pose these questions to the others.


Can too much light cause browning ?

Can moving a coral too much cause browning ?

Can shipping cause browning ?

Can 6500k lighting cause browning ?

Can the act of fragging itself cause fragging ?

- I have never seen this. I think it is more likely to lighten the colors than cause browning.

- Never experienced this happening

Bright Colors = New growth of tissue.

If you want great colors, you have keep the coral happy and to get it to grow.
