Coral Dip

I have been dipping any new Zoas in Lugols before they enter my reef. Today, I purchased a multi colored Sun coral which is quite nice. I am inclined to dip this one as well but am unsure the dosage. Does anyone know how many drops in say in a gallon of R/O I should use of Lugols. The instructions say 30-40 which I feel is a bit strong.

Me personally, I don't follow instructions, I just dip all my corals in TMPCC. I make the water look like dark tea and leave them there for 10-15mins. then shake them off and blow with a turkey baster prior to placing in the tank.

Thanks , but what is TMPCC????????? I have been using Lugols.

Tropical Marine Coral Cure. Too me its way better than Lugols. I do have lugols too but only use it as iodine addition to the tank. 1 drop per 25gals.
