Coral Domination! List yours!

Not sure if this has ever been done, but I think it could be extremely useful for many of us. Let's list a battle between two corals, and who wins... for example: (these are from my tank)

Candy Cane (Caulastrea furcata) beats Frogspawn
Green Star Polyps beats Ricordia Florida
Xenia = Green Star Polyps
Monti Cap = Encrusting Monti (I've had it go both ways)

This could help a lot of others with coral placement and tank planning. There might be cases where one person has had the opposite outcome as someone else, but I think on average we can figure out which coral dominates others. Anyone else have battles to share?

I saw a thread like this a long time ago, it's probably so buried we'll never find it.

Bubble vs. any other LPS --> bubble wins IME
Acan vs. zoanthids --> zoas close up but don't die, sort of a tie

frogspawn beats monti cap. bleached the hell out of it, but amazingly it all grew back.

frogspawn murders pagota cup literally in matter of seconds. The pagota cup recovered but prob wouldn't of if I didnt catch it as soon as it fell ontop of the frogspawn.

Xenia actually likes zoas, I have a zoa colony growing throught xenia, the polyps are acually growing thought the xenia stalk.

Green base orange polyp digitata > purple digita

just encrusts right on top of it, killing it off

Green Hairy Mushroom vs. Orange Plate, Flroida Ricordia, Hammer, Orange Monti Cap...Green Hairy obliterated them all!

xenia tried to beat acros but just grows around it ? tie
xenia beats digitata by growing on it.
