I had 2 in the last 14hrs . Although I didn't grab pics. Both times it was my sub echinata colony whooping some coral arse. First while doing my waterchange I bump one of my lord colonies into my rainbow sun ech. Needless to say by the time I noticed it had wiped out a large head of the lord. The this morning I look in to see the damage and it was trying to take one of my torts out that had got knocked down and was very close to it .


I find it weird sometimes. Cap and blastos get along , blastos and echnos get along but a sub echinate will desimate anything . Reminds me of a hydno in aggresiveness.

IME, the most aggression has come from a bubble coral that I have. No pics, though. Also, Diploastrea has some massive sweeper tentacles (~6") too.

agreed. It doesn't take long for them to attck anything near them. less than an hour even.

Are u only have xineas???

Yeah....my tank is 80% xenias. There's also a neon green tree, green tree, crocea clam, pink cynaria, pulsing sinularia, and GSP.

nice !!! I like u tank, I see u like soft corals[me too] what tipe off lighting are u running???? That neon green tree is really nice ,I have xineas too white ponpon and pink

I'm running a single 175w 20k bulb only. Thanks for your kind words Yeah, we're still trying to figure out what type of green tree that is, it's either nepthea or palau...but I'm sure some would beg to differ as well..lol.
