Coral & Fish Center, a rapidly growing, Saltwater and Freshwater aquarium store is hiring individuals for Aquarium Maintenance and Sales Manager positions. Enjoy working in the stunning and exciting hobby of Aquariums with eventful workdays both inside and outside the retail store.
The retail portion involves engaging in assisting both experienced and new hobbyists regarding their current or future aquariums and livestock choices. The service position involves traveling to commercial and residential locations to service and maintain aquariums.
Knowledge of Aquarium systems, Coral, Freshwater & Saltwater fish are recommended, but not required - we will train enthusiastic applicants. On the job training is constant and we are looking for highly motivated individuals with excellent customer skills.

Job Requirements:
- Strong communication skills
- Flexibility and stamina to work retail hours
- Must be able to comfortably and repetitively lift 50 lbs (e.g.: water containers)
- Excellent problem solving ability
- Valid California driver's license with a good driving record
- Experience maintaining various aquarium systems and ponds
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Maintain a high level of customer service
- Demonstrate solid knowledge about pet care and safety
- Keep merchandise priced, neat, clean and fronted.
- Become technically knowledgeable with all products/livestock in the store
- Cleaning fish tanks, tank maintenance and feeding.
- Develop your team: Coaching, Training, Performance Reviews, Etc.
- Maintain a high standard of appearance and professionalism
- Ensure all opening, daily and closing procedures are followed
- Ensure proper care of the livestock
- Maintain a well-merchandised store and track inventory
- Order and receive livestock and supplies
