Coral Frenzy Feeding

Well put me in the minority, but I feed Rod's Original food as the staple diet and do not have an increase in phosphates. I do run GFO. Not sure if it is marketting shill, but they have said their food does not need to be rinsed and does not contribute an extra phosphates compared to other frozen foods.

All I can say is in my situation I do not have microalgae growth or an increase in phosphates while feeding Rod's almost every day (and running GFO).

Of course, maybe you guys are just referring to Rod's Coral Blend and then I'd look stoopid
i don't think rod even makes any big claims. his fish food is just everyday seafood that anyone could make up at home. nothing on the package to claim otherwise. i don't want to bash the guy. i'm just saying there are reasons why he's been kicked off RC and doesn't deal with the public directly.,

I have used G's frozen food for several months now and the fish have been very happy. It certainly is more affordable than Rods . I didn't know that Rod was "a shady character".

What I meant is that the food doesnt have any more phosphates than other frozen foods. I didnt mean to imply it wouldnt add any at all. And I cant remember where I saw it, but I am pretty sure it was Rod that said not to rinse the food

I feed coral frenzy three times a week and do a regular weekly water change in all my tanks with no phosphate issues. I really like using it mixed in with my other food cocktails I feed the corals. Tom at the Reef Shoppe uses it on his tanks I am pretty sure.
