Coral Fusion

I have a kenya tree. And A bunch of zoanthids.
Today i was movng some corals. ANd i found a frag of my kenya tree. I wasnt suprised at all until i found about 5 green (with pink in the middle) Zoanthids on it!. THey attached to is with no seems! THey look like the same coral almost( at the attachment point) I this uncommon?

Not sure but I have some zoa's growing out of the base, in the flesh of a red sea xenia. I know zoa's will cover and kill out other corals but there is no way for me to get them off short of chopping the whole thing right to the rock.
