Coral Growth on rock ID please

Hi, anyone know what this is growing on my rock. It started out as a speck probably two years ago and is now gaining a green fluorescent tinge.

It's far more green than what the pictures show, also it moves with the water flow. If you look closely it is made up of tiny filaments.

Could be a green fuzzy mushroom. When mine has babies, they are pretty translucent then get a small tinge of color , a bit tan, then green, spot or two of red, then they turn completely green.

Are your fuzzy mushrooms completely stuck to the rock or do they have a stalk and a head? What I have here appears to have no stalk and is all 'stuck' down on the live rock.

I have some Hydra52's coming this week, hopefully they will accelerate the growth and colouration a little, to make it easier to identify!!

Always been a bit worried about prodding it as I've been nurturing it!!
It's like encrustation so is hard, there's little filaments which give it a look as if it's soft and squidgy but it's so fine you can't really feel it.

If it's hard then it's not mushrooms. It must be some sort of LPS. A bleached one. The first one looks kinda like merulina with those ridges.

Thanks for your help, a few pics I've just googled do look similar. My new lights arrive this week so I'll keep an eye out over the next few weeks. Thanks again to everyone.

Thanks, I have my new lights but I haven't been able to get my mount up yet. So it hasn't changed much over the last few weeks.
Do we think it's entirely photosynthetic?
