A buddy of mine gave me this coral when he shut his tank down. I'm pretty sure it's a Pavona, but I'm not positive. Looking for an ID on it.
Also, it seems to have lost some of it's color over the past couple of weeks. It used to be green everywhere except the outer edges. Now, as you can see, it's got some spots that aren't green in the middle of each branch. Only recently have I noticed any sort of feelers being put out. And they're small and stringy. In other pavona pics I've seen, they look almost bushy.
I have zero experience with SPS. If this is indeed a type of Pavona, I've read all kinds of conflicting info about lighting and flow. I'd love to save this piece (if it indeed needs saving). Any ideas would be appreciated.
