Got this coral as a freebie from another reefer when I bought a bunch of stuff from his tank.

It's been in my tank now about 7 months. It's doubled in size (very, very slow growing). The colors are morphing as it grows out to the left, going from neon orange to neon green. It's still very small with only one mouth and feeder tentacles that come out. It's about the size of a dime, believe it or not.

I can't make out any specific discernible skeletal structure (chalice, favite, war coral) but the colors are pretty amazing.

It's so slow growing I'm inclined to say chalice. It has great polyp extension and apparently loves high flow / high light. I just can't get it to grow fast. Bummer.

Are you feeding it regurly?

Does cleaning the glass count? :hammer:

It's so small is there really even a point of spot feeding? When I say this thing is small, I mean dime sized or smaller. Kind of hard to target feed, but I suppose I could.

the reason I say chalice over acan is the texture.. in the pic the skin looks too smooth for acan.. just my opinion..
