Coral ID needed: Acro on Red Sea Coral Pro bucket

You mean the image of the little hippo tang inside the branches of the coral?

The original photo is actually mine, so I can tell you with certainty that it is not an Acropora, but it is a Seriatopora sp. Likely S. guttatus or S. caliendrum.

Red Sea's advertising blew the white balance completely out of reality (sadly) so the coral looks all purple. With the original image and in reality it was green with a tan base.

Yes, that is actually the picture i was talking about.. Thanks for the ID. Can you post the original picture just so I can see how it's supposed to really look?

Sure... I had to do a little digging to track it down, but here's the original.

Can you spot the other little tang?

Ohhh now i no what you mean. But they pulled a brightwell and completely changed the color of the actually coral.

That was your coral or your pic klepto? For some reason i think you stole it. LOL (that was suppose to be a joke because of your name. )

Jason, I worked hard on editing the raw file to truly represent the coral and fish's colors, and then they turned around and blew the saturation out of the water.

In fact, there was a klepto maneuver. However, it wasn't on my end!

I'll leave it at that.
