Coral I'd please

Hi,I just got this from Lfs.girls in there didn't know what it is and nor do I.to me it looks like imitation candy cane coral,the sides look as though the green is painted on! Any ideas?? Ty

Yes it's neon green.but I still think its not real.it looks like its old coral dipped in paint!

Ty,it's lights off now and it's almost luminous,but looks devoid of any flesh to speak off.any suggestions on how to revive it?.its been in my tank for around 12hours.

Alot of those heads look alive to me.
Can you get a close up?

Although upside down, the second picture shows definite tissue loss in some of the heads.
And it looks very much alive.
Maybe put it to the side as well on the bottom for a bit, low light and low flow.
But watch it carefully
And you can try feeding it.
Mine typically extends for feeding a couple hours after lights out.
Or sometimes will extend after lightly dusting it with some food.
I don't find these guys easy.

It might come back some in your tank if water quailty is right or it may contiue to degrade. Once they're losing tissue and pulling back like that it can be hard to reverse course. I'd put it in a calm spot with moderate light and hope for the best.
