Coral Id please...

Good evening,

I have this coral which I am hoping it to be sinularia sp. as the LFS told me so but I am afraid it can be Carnation Tree Coral (Dendronephthya sp.)

As I changed the whole lighting system a couple of days ago, I need to understand its light requirements.

Yeah, it does look like a Carnation coral, however these corals are Non-Photosynthetic. Providing the coral with plenty of food will be your biggest problem. It's definitely not one of the easiest corals to keep. GL.

Yeah I checked the liveaquaria page... I have it since a month and it was doing fine under low light. I read couple of articles & experiments to keep this coral which seems to be quite hard.

The only food that I give to corals are dupla coral food & coral food pytho...

could be Scleronephthya sp. or lemnalia? :|

Definitely looks like a carnation.

even it is scleronepthya it seems it needs low light...
