coral id please

Anyone know what this might be? The closest I could figure from melev's site was possibly encrusting monti? This rocks been in my tank since day one and I just noticed the coral growing today. First pic is without flash, second is with. It looks like it is growing back where it used to be.

it's some stony coral. kind of small to tell what it is.

it would be nice to see the skeleton detail when closed down, but being so small it may be impossible anyway. Those polyps look like any one of several types of corals: Monti, Porites, ?

where is the rock from? If it is atlantic that really narrows down the field. Although that coral looks pacific to me.

Looks like a species of lissoclinum.

SPS... yes, genus, species (?) One thing for certain is if continues to grow you'll be able to identify it in a few months, and there's nothing better than a free surprise growing from the rock.
