Doesn't look like a Kenya Tree as the polyps are completely retracted, which Kenya Tree's can't do. they just close, but do not totally retract.

Could be a Colt, Cladellia, Sinularia, Nepthea, or something similar. Hard to say with out an open polyp picture.

Is the tissue soft and slimy to the touch, or a little bit rough and leathery?

its rough and leathery

I don't know the name of it either but I have the same coral that I fragged from a friend. It took off like crazy in my 180 at home and I propagated it into my 29 nano at the office. It has overgrown it twice and needed trimming. Just when I was thinking I was the master of these, the ones in my home tank suddenly melted down and were gone in days. Not sure what happened.
