I've never kept goniopora myself but it is said to be notoriously hard to keep alive. I would search this forum for goni threads ASAP if you want it around for long.

I just bought a Goniopora too. Seems they like a lower level of light and only moderate flow. They are notoriously harder to keep for more than a year but some people have had great success. You don't need to feed them directly and some say not at all.
