Have been using IO Reef Crystals, but bought pre mixed water (the shop uses Salinity salt, so a change there)

~28g total volume, changed out 10 gallons after a detritus siphon, and swapped out the carbon.

The issue I saw immediately was cloudy water upon the new water entering the system, cleared after an hour. All Acan frags and two zoa frags were sloughing mucus and sucked up. The new water was brought to 78 degrees, same temp the tank is kept. The acans have yet to "reinflate", but have stopped producing mucus strings. Question is whether this is normal after a different salt change (my TDS meter is on the way, as I no longer trust my rodi under sink system-no resin filter, just three carbon filters, a dechlorinated chamber and a diaphragm). Any help is appreciated, the acans were only placed in the system two days ago but we're full and eating very well.

I have never switched salt brands so I cant offer much advice there. 40% of a different brand I wouldn't think that's unusual though.

OK, appreciated. Came home today and checked everything, all solid except for KH and Calcium. I two part, but am in the process of figuring out how much is needed as it's a new system. The acans look happy, no color loss and we're puffy again, just no feeder tents out like usual. Maybe cleaner water, less feeding response? Added a PP-8 and AquaLink S1 today, I can see why a lot of members went that route. Dead silent, great programming flexibility, and best of all the price. I'll have to grab a second one tomorrow if available. Very very pleased, enough to remove the three Tunze 6025's from the display.
