Hey all, i have added my first corals this week. They are all nice and healthy, i think. Except this nice one that I bought is comming out. It first it was all long and stuff and since I transfered it in my tank from my LCS, it hasnt come out! or barely.

Anyone knows whats going on?

Ph level is at 8.19 and there is no ammonia, nitrite or nitrate what so ever!

Any advice would be more then welcome.

Thats a Long tentical plate ( Heliofungia actiniformis )
It should be placed in the sand not on the rocks. It has a hard skeleton but soft underside that with be damaged by sitting on the rocks. It requires high output lighting due to the area it is comonly found. Shallow lagoons. It will do best if fed often. It is unfortunate that you picked a coral that has a high rate of failure in the home aquarium good luck.

Here is a picture of mine. Ive had him for about 8 months.
