coral parasite?

I just noticed this on an acro frag (left). Please let me know if this looks familiar. A couple of days ago I clipped off the tip of this acro frag, the base was dead, but the tip looked OK. The white stuff is super glue gel (OK I went a little overboard). The LR next to it (right) looks like it may have been nibbled.

Sorry the pics are too clear, they were taken with a flash with the actinics on. I didn't want to wait until tomorrow.

The rest of my SPS frags look fine.

Pedrito - does not look like fw or any other known acro killers.

But it sort of look like a type of crab.
better pics perhaps?

Oh NO! that looks like the dangerous and highly elusive "chupa coral" bicho

man u make me laugh like a kid hahahaha

pedro maybe was the glue u use a lot,is that side of the coral getting light?? I~m not acro expert just given u some ideas :)

Thanks, guys. I will invite un brujo over to the house to exorcise any chupacorals in the neighborhood. :D

Thanks for the call, gasista. I'm going to keep an eye on it, today it didn't look any worse. I hate to pull it out of there while it still has polyps extending on the tip. If it survives, I'll give you a frag in a few months. I'm pretty sure the chips is a goner, though... shame.

Sorry to hear about the chips. Those are nice arse corals too. Dude, I would frag it down to a few polyps and glue those down. I've seen colonies sprout from 2-3 polyps. Granted those were pocillapora, but I still have faith in acros under the right conditions.
