That is one of my favorite ones I was wondering if it was the same because mine is shaped different, more braching. I've been trying to figure out what it was. When I got mine it had a spot of red slime algae on one branch and some GHA on another branch. I still paid $40 for the frag but after only a couple weeks both those branches healed and encrusted fully and it is now growing. I've never seen it around here and it was the only frag of it that they had at the store.

its one of my favorites too. It was almost dead but it does encrust a lot the base isnt visible its behind a rock, but the base is 6"x6" and looks really good I hope it will branch from there too.

Nice pics. I finally got a frag of a Garf Bonzai. I had one years ago that died due mistakes on my part. That is one of my favorite too. Where do you keep yours in your tank?

its up pretty high under vhos and diy rb led's about 450 par i have a few pieces of it one is under 200 par a lighter purple and the other under 300 par which looks like the pic.

Maybe I should move mine up. The tips are a nice deep purple, but they fade to a dark brown in the lower light areas. Mine is near the bottom under radiums.

i haven't tried it under my radium yet i have 3 tanks piped together in the basement one with a 250w radium one with t5, mixed led and one vho rb led. Im kind of experimenting on lighting and color. So far my testing is over a year and thinking water quality is by far the most important to get good color.
