I had some time to play with my camera today. I need to work on DOF but here are some shots for fun. Some of you may recognize the frags!

actually, your dof is fine on these images. I suspect that the color is not accurate. Do you use photoshop? It should be pretty easy to adjust it.

Actually the colors are pretty accurate. Its the way they appear under 12K lighting. The hard part is getting the light colored tips and the dark stems to show correctly.

They look pretty good. could you give us some specifics? like what camera you have ,lens used if you used a flash , top down or through the glass, Thanks..I just picked up a new lens on e bay, Canon EF-S 60mm f/2.8 Compact Macro AutoFocus Lens. now I just have to wait for the Big Brown Truck

All pictures were through the glass, hard hood directly on the glass freehand. The camera is a Minolta Dimage7, which has a fixed lens which accepts 49mm filters(thought of this after friday night) from my 35mm film camera. The camera is a 5.2 Megapixel . I did not use a flash but did do a custom white balance setting. All pics were shot in macro mode with no filters. I do have the +1- +4 filter lenses to try so it should be fun. Also they were shot at night with only tank lighting on, and with tank running.

Here are both corals i got from you that day. Frogspawn that Ben tried to talk you into letting him hold for me, and the Torch that was a little shaky looking.

Oh yeah this pic is straight from the camera except for re sizing to upload.

I had the Torch at the other end and it didn't like all the flow it was getting so i moved it here and it seems much happier.
