coral placement in a new SPS tank

In your expert opinions, which SPS should be higher in a tank (closer to the light) and which should be lower? The tank I have is 24" deep and now has a 250 watt Iwasaki w/ diamond lumeneric hood.

C'mon with everyone having such beautiful SPS tanks on this forum. What has worked best for you?

Or, can you guide me to some other place to find this info.

It is all trial and error. Always start it low in the tank. Slowly raise it up until it is in the location that you want it and is keeping its best color.

At least that is the way I do it.

Yeah, that is what I planned to do. I just thought that someone could give me some general info like; monti digis like a lot of light, blue millis like less light, if you place orance caps in too much light they will fade out, etc.

I guess i'll just experiment and post my findings for others.

Any digis or caps will bleach if I place them immediately under my HQIs. I always start everything on the bottom of the tank.
