Coral Placement - Torch/Birdsnest

I have a torch that I'm moving. Will it sting a birdsnest? I'm wanting to put the birdsnest nearby but not sure it's a great idea.

I guess it can sting any other kind of coral?

yes... a torch can sting whatever it wants..

As long as you leave a good 6" between it and anything else you should be fine. I also like to place things like that so that the prevailing currents in the tank will help to guide sweepers away from other corals

Don't forget to allow for future growth of both as well - especially the Birdsnest - they grow pretty quickly.

Ok, that probably sounded dumb but for some reason the birdsnest just doesn't seem like it would be bothered. I'm goofy.
