coral propagation

has anyone ever used shells when fragging a coral?
Pros/Cons?

I've purchase frags mounted to shells. It workded fine.

i think i am going to try it tonight.

I asked in the propagagtion formum but I will ask again in here,
after i frag my kenya tree, should i turn the lights off my tank or does it not matter?

just like rocks. and if a crab steals it then its mobile. ive had mobile xenia and a piece ripped off and grew on another rock.

i told my wife i was going to put it on a shell and that is what she thought!!! I can set a mobile kenya tree walking around in her head!!!!!! lol
