Coral skeletons colors

I've colored some coral skeletons with acrylic colors and now I coated them with clear epoxy resin. Can I put them in my saltwater fish only tank? I've done this in my fresh water tank long ago and it was successful. Please help and suggestions. I'm using same material as I used in fresh water tank. Thanks

Yes, only problem is that coralline will start growing on it givin time. Saltwater is not as forgiving as fresh when it comes to painted decoration.

Sure..assuming everything is dry and fully cured

^^^What they said^^^

Within a year or so they will look like any other piece of rock in your tank unless you clean them quite often, and then you'll just wear the paint off anyway.

As already stated, can work ,but would be some maintenance to keep looking good.

By the way, they do look pretty good for not being live coral. An interesting way to get the brighter coral look without the filtration, lighting, flow, and fish selection requirements of live coral.

Thanks so much for your compliment

I have used artificial corals painted realistically with Krylon and luiquitex paints for years with NO issues and with good maintenance Never experienced algae issues, I let everything DRY for one week and you are good to go. Currently I have 4 tanks setup like this 75 to 180 gallons since I do FOLWR tanks only.
