Coral Tank from Canada (1350gal Display Tank)

Funny about the home theater - when I designed my in wall basement 240 display, I was left without enough wall space to properly locate a flat screen within view from the lounge... so my solution was to elect to use a projection setup with motorized screen in front of the tank in the event that we decide a movie is more interesting than the tank... I'm nearly finished with the reef - just need to do some Cherry trim work, install the mini-split A/C and then the projection setup will be finished. I suspect the tank will win more often that not. Even with only some live rock and a cleaner crew, it's amazing how much I catch my wife staring at the thing. :)

Keep those pics coming Peter. I don't mind the cars (of course would prefer to have them in my garage), but we need more shots of the setup!

More shots coming Oldtimer. Since my 2.40 is so far away from my tank I will be setting up a HD cam to watch on the curved screen!!

Thank you for the great compliments salsipuedes. Actually, you need double my success to be totaly anxiety free.......... minus the cost for drugs!!!

Peter

Well I guess its true what they say, there's only two things that you have enough of when you have too much:

1. Sex
2. Money

^ Universal truth I live by. Have too much of those two and I guarantee you will be anxiety free and can ditch the drugs!!! :lmao:

on a quick sidenote:
as you have so graciously given us a glance into your home, which one of your "toys" is your favorite? not sure if this question has been asked yet but theres too many pages to reread now.

Just checking in again to say thank you for sharing your build with us. Also, thank you for alerting me to ChingChai's build. Looking forward to watching your continued success.

Kelly thanks for the feedback on Chingchai's build. I believe there are very few that compare and I am always very pleased when I get that acknowledgement.

Darn, I keep having to remind myself that this is a family channel.........

Sorry Paul, all I know is that a soccer ball is round and a football...............is not!

Peter

But peter didn't you know soccer or futbol is the international sport? I used to think it was a silly game played by grass fairies until I had to coach a team of teenage girls. Let me tell you it is an interesting game from all angles if played by evenly matched teams.

Chris

are there any filtration picture updates?
(there is an average of 1 picture per 10 pages, and figured we could get an update on the filtration side.)

i left for a few days - a week, and there was like 20 pages of posts!!!!!!!!!!!!! wow. this thread doesnt mess around. (nineball, i know your getting some great information, but your eyes/head has to hurt at the end of the day from staring at the computer!!!)

You are right dahenley, my eyes and head do hurt but its worth it to maintain this incredible community. I realise that it is also a frustrating place to be for any members afflicted with ADD. It does seem to move at a snails pace but there will be pictures and the pace will pick up quickly enough. Hopefully, the fish room alone will be worth the price of admission.

I read the entire article Mr Wilson and I'm still not buying any of your earthquake insurance policies.

Peter

As long as you don't cancel your order for the aquarium encyclopedias. I just shipped you out A to I. Let me now when you are ready for J to R :)

If you have one of Cliffs Dufferin cues you have a collectors item. The Canadian hard maple used for those sticks was very unique and special for that run.

Peter

Brings up a good off-topic question Peter.....

What kind of cue do you shoot with?

:uzi:

My money says a "left handed and backwards cue" Peter forget us for a day or to and crack that whip over john and the boys. Seems they may be milking it a little............. :strooper:

Thank you Mr. Wilson. I got them but why were all the pictures cut out? Oh and the section on flying fish with the introduction by John Cleese smelled funny.

You are half right......today was an additional plumbing day before the drywallers close it all up.

I suspect that my appreciation will be increased dramaticaly in this round. Toronto seems to go crazy during these events. Its the one time of the year when you will see every flag from around the world except Canada's. Since we only get three and a half weeks of summer our experience with this sport is quite limited.
