Is the branching hammer the same I got from you at the last meet? The "green" that's yellow in my tank.

Yes it is the same, do not know why it is yellow in your tank. Must be the lighting.

Piper, it sounds like it might be bleaching. You may want to move it away from the light.

It was that color from the moment it went in the tank. It's the lighting that's making it that color. Remember I'm running at 20k with the LED's.

That's interesting, I guess it is the 20K. It is strange how things change in appearance from one tank to another.

I've traded with and purchased corals from, Phil, also and he's a top notch aquarist with beautiful, healthy coral stock. Sorry I haven't contacted you Phil, tis the season of craziness I will soon.

Ditto, I have purchased many corals from Phil and they are all very healthy and have done wonderfully. I recommend dealing with him and his stock.

Thanks for all the compliments. I try to take care of my tanks as best as I know how and they seem to really return the favor. I have been very successful in the last couple years with my livestock. But this was not always the case. About four years ago I almost gave up on keeping a reef because I had gotten so discouraged with my losses. I do not feel it was because the coral and fish that I had bought were hard to keep, its just that I had not learned which ones not to buy (examples: goniopora, dendros, etc...) I have learned numerous things in the last three years and usually I am able to keep my livestock alive and actually thriving!!!! So don't give up if your new at this, it just takes a lot of reading, time and patience.
