Coral Up For Trade

Hey all, I would like to get some corals out of my 300g. I'm going more towards SPS & LPS, and have some shrooms, leathers, zoanthids that I would like to offer up for trade. I am only looking for LPS or SPS in trade.

1a) A large rock covered with 15+ Mushrooms. The coloration is maroon with bright blue dots.

1b) A large rock with 12+ mushrooms. The coloration is maroon with bright blue dots.

1c) A large rock with 8+ mushrooms. The coloration is maroon with bright blue dots.

2) Fairly good size Sarcophyton elegans...aka True Yellow Fiji Leather. Will take halide and high flow. The rock it's on is softball sized.

3) Softball size rock with 8+ Red Mushrooms.

4) 6"+ long rock with brown palyathoa, a couple maroon w/ blue spot mushrooms, maybe another odd/end.

5) 6"-8" Rose Anemone. My anemone split recently and I only want one. This has been around the club for several years. The starin was originally introduced into the area by Shawn Lovato, who passed out numerous generations of it (I think he got it from someone as captive also). I got my iteration from TK, and have so far given away 5 clones myself, with this being #6. When fed a decent sized shrimp every week, it splits every 3 months or so.

You can pickup from me in Elk Grove (my preferance), or I can lug them to the meeting. First come first served.

Oh, I would also take cash in place of a trade. Figure $15 per item should be fair. Whatever isn't claimed I will put in this months club raffle.

Jordan, nothing up close. But in this full tank shot you can see it on the far left side of the tank, right at the end of the rock about 6" above the sand.

When it was under 10k it was bright yellow, now wih the lower par of the 15k & 20k it has darkened a bit. For a size comparison it is a 300g tank. This would easily be a $50+ coral at retail.

I'll take it if it's not more than 6-8" across. Great arch in the middle! I can meet at the next meeting if that works. LMK.

Great! So $15 right? I have a place for it up top near the 150W 14K halides and I have a spot for it in the lower middle of the tank. My tanks only 21" deep. LMK what the best place for it is. I have medium flow everywhere in the tank.

Thanks, the pic is a little over exposed. It's changed quite a bit since this picture was taken.

Jordan-
Right no I have it 20" directly under a 250w 15k, and it gets some side light from another 250w @ 15k. I would start it at the bottom location for a few weeks and see how it does. If you want it brighter yellow move it upwards in a month or two.

Sorry, the RBTA is spoken for.

The meeting is fine. I can't make the swap. 1a is the same color morph as the ones you got from me last time. Sort of the maroon with those little bright blue dots. The reds are the same as the bright red you got last time.

actaully when i came by and got all those corals (nearly a year ago! they have all grown so big and i thank you for how many you gave me) i picked out the green shrooms with the the kinda hairy (tonga?) texture, they look orange under daylights and green under actinics. they have more than doubled since i got them any many polyps have been given out to the club w/one polyp now ready for the swap.

any way,my point is...when i was at your house i was drooling over the spotted ones in your main tank, but there was only one spotted shroom in your frag tank and it was on a huge rock w/things i did not want so i passed on it. so i am VERY excited to be getting some of the blue spot shrooms becuase i really like them becuase to me the dots look like little stars under the actinics and i love stary nights.

all the corals i got from you are doing well, the purple digi did very well for some time, it got all its color back and was growing just fine but then it, and my other sps began to die off so i lost it...i am now staying w/lps and softies. the cup/octopus coral (a green dome w/big anemone like polyps on it) has gotten so big recently and i think the dome is now becomming a cup as the top is now thinner and curving, and my clowns LOVE it.

by the way every one just loves Stinky the skunk shrimp i got from you, he cleans my red anthia, my fingers, my bicolor belnny, and every time my nephew comes over the first thing he wants to do is he wants Stinky to clean his fingers.

okay i'll stop rambling, i just wanted to share today :)
