Coral, weird clear substance

One mischievous hermit crab has knock one of my coral off its rock, it now has this weird jelly like layer forming. Can anyone tell me what this is and should I be concerned?

I'm no coral expert, but that looks like protective gel

I agree, looks like protective mucus coat that corals put out, most likely nothing to worry about and should blow off in your tank's circulation.

Corals usually make protective gel when they're disturbed. Althoygh my corals don't usually make that much

umm...maybe brown jelly disease .....does this when it gets injured ..

The last time I saw something like this was when my Lobophyllia stung my Setosa coral. Something is definitely wrong IMO.
