Howdy!
I have a 3 stage RO unit I got for $50, but it seems the membrane is shot (doesn't remove contaminants to wastewater). Coralife sent me to the local distributor who wants $129 for just the membrane!
So question is, if I'm going to put any more money into this unit (it's a supplemental one, I have a good spectrapure one for the DT), I would want to get a real membrane and not an overpriced one from coralife. Does anyone know if I can substitute a real name membrane into it??
Thanks for any help. This is a 3 stage, which then will go through my separate DI stage... so I'd like it to be fairly efficient, spectrapure DI's aren't all that cheap!
