Coralife Mini-Aqualight

Hello SteveU,

Thanks for the post, we have an estimated date of arrival being 12/18. Please keep in mind that this is an estimated date and not an actual receiving date. Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond our control this date may be extended further out.

I hope this information was helpful

Thanks for the reply. I understand about the estimated time knowing where it comes from. I just noticed everyone was out and thought it might be discontinued.

I'm not very good at remembering some things but..... when I go to that item now it says discontinued. Is that your way of saying out of stock or is that really the case now?

Also, I'm looking for a 48" T5 single bulb fixture with a leg system of some sort (not for hanging). Searching the site I can only find twin 54W fixtures. I think Hagen makes one but not sure if anyone else does. Do you have any ideas? I think I've looked at everything on MD and sister site Petstore.com.
This is for my planted 90g and I'm just looking for the single light for evening time viewing and not the blast of light two bulbs produce.

Thanks,
SteveU

Hi SteveU,

Thanks for the post, yes you are correct unfortunately the item has now been updated and discontinued. I apologize for the inconvenience. Unfortunately I do not carry a fixture with a single T5, but I do carry the Hagen Glo T5 HO Linear Fluorescent Lighting System This fixture does have 2 54 w lamps in the fixture along with the aquarium mounting brackets. This fixture is available to be shipped today.

I hope this information was helpful.

Kinda thought that's where the Coralife Mini was headed.

T5...I saw the dual and could live with it but if I'm not mistaken that fixture has one switch for both bulbs. That just leaves me back where I am now with too much light sometimes in the evenings.

Thanks for the help either way.

Hi SteveU,

I went to check on the fixture itself cause I was not sure if it had one or two switches, there really isn't a switch on the unit, just a cord with plug to plug directly into the wall but there is a Dual timer that is included in the box. I'm not 100% sure if the fixture requires both bulbs to be connected for it to function, or if it can function with just one bulb connected by itself. I hope it this helps
