Coralife Power Center problems

I got the Coralife digital power center today and I set it to what I think is right but it did not work as it should have. Are the 7 programmable cycles for each day of the week so 1 cycle a day? I had it wet on auto and to turn off 50 minutes after the current time but it was still off and would not turn on. Anyone have problems like this and know where I can get better instructions? Or, as I know most of you will say, I should get a whole new controller. I am not looking for any special things just light control and possible heater control. Any recommendations?

i have 2 of them and i couldn't get either one of them to work right. same deal, set it for a certain time and never turned on or off at the time i set it for. i finally gave up and bought a neptune aquacontroller jr

Set it to auto, and it will work tomorrow, for some reason it will not reset till the next day.

+1 I have one and it does the same thing...needs a day to 'reset' once switched to 'auto' or if you modify programming. Plus they are 'single' power modules as opposed to 'dual'. When 1 side switches on, the other will switch 'off'....and so on.

I only use one prgm setting, but I think there are 7 seperate prgms. You can use any of them continuously at one time. Or if you go to random mode it will pick one/day.

These are total junk. I have gone through I dont know how many CL power strips. I have gone through at least 3 digital and 5 dial power strips. After a while they just stop working as timers. I got tired of them and got a Reef Keeper.

Return it and pick up an RKL. Single best purchase I've ever made in this hobby (pending a Vortech when I win the lotto). :thumbsup:
