Coralife Power Center

I posted this in the equipment area too, but i need to get this resolved soon. There is obviously an issue with these powercenter timers.
I have been through my fifth one in a months time. Now my LFS will not let me return the last one i purchased.
The timer just stops working. I have it set up for my lighting cycle and found that atintics were on all night long and now they will not shut off. I am going to call the company after i post here to see if anyone else has had a problem.
3 Questions:
1. Who makes Coralife products because i cant find their website?
2. Have they resolved this problem?
3. Is there something else out there that does the same thing without breaking?

1. Don't know -- I imagine it's whatever factory makes the lowest bid on building the design.

2. Not to my knowledge.

3. An aquarium controller (more money) or individual light timers from Home Depot (less money).

I have purchased those and now wish i hadnt removed them. THis powercenter was ideal for what i needed it for (until it failed). I have a refugium that is lighted at night and this power center has that function when the actintics turn off they fuge light comes on. Oh well, i will just come up with another solution. Thank you for the response.

+1. I hear that the RKL is probably the safest way to go. And if you watch the youtube video on how the basic set-up works you will fall in love with it. It can do so many things straight out of the box and can always be upgraded later on. I plan on getting one for my tank.

I too have read countless posts with people having 3 of these fail within a years time....I guess I am one of the lucky ones. I have had the same one for 18 months with no issues.
