Coralife salt?

I just switched over to Coralife salt. I mix my salt in a 45 gal Brute barrel. Now i noticed that it's almost been a day and the water is still cloudy. Is this normal with this salt?

i've never had that problem.do you have a powerhead in the water?

yea i have a maxi jet mod in there 1600 gph which is more than enough.

Never had this problem either. For me its always cleared up faster than any other salt.

i've used that salt for over 20 years. never had an issue. just switched to H2O but will use coralife in a pinch..

I have gone through many buckets/bags of coralife saltmix in the past and never had that problem as well.

yea it cleared up after like 2 days thanks for the responses. probably put to much salt in at once.
