Coralife Smart Led Light

Need a new light and saw this at Petco, would this be sufficient for all types of corals in a red sea reefer 250? It's in my budget now, would likely upgrade later when I could

I couldn’t find much. Not even on Coralifes website. Looking at the owners manual, it also shows it’s the same as Aqueons LED light.

I would say probably not suitable for most corals. If the Petco price is within your budget, I’d consider looking at Glowrium Reef LED (it’s a strip light designed for coral growth). Or perhaps a NiCrew hyperreef gen2 the 150 covers 30x30 which while smaller than your tank width, I’m guessing you don’t have rock going from wall to wall.

Hard to trust a light without even giving you the wattage.
Seems it is no more than 60 total watts @ 30"

Red Sea reefer is 54 gallons. AT BEST you might get 1wpg (generously rounded)
For the same price you can get way more wattage with this "off brand" LED
NOTE : After a bit of better reading it's a Smatfarm product. not "exactly" off brand.

Interesting that it has an optional 1.5" base for I assume rimmed tanks.
Coverage won't be as good but that's a tradeoff.
Nicrew as suggested above is fine but with the add on controller its more expensive.
