Coralife Super skimmer not producing bubbles

i have a new coralife skimmer, that won't produce any bubbles. The pump works, and a lot of water is pushed through it, but no bubbles...
Any ideas? Could something be stuck in the needle wheel? and if so how do i get it out?

is the air tube hooked up?

Oh, the air tube was disconnected. Thanks. Also is the "air inlet silencer" necessary, because i don't think that mine came with one

if its hooked up correctly, make sure if it has a flow adjustment on the end of the air line that its open. that was one of my first mistakes
