so i have been offshore for a long time been home about 2 weeks now so of course its time for a water change and tank cleaning since it has not had it in a month....
the side glass is COVERED with beautiful purple coraline and as i am scraping it off i just kept thinking that when i first started this tank i could NOT wait to get some of the purple stuff and now that it is ALL OVER the glass i wish it would just grow on the rocks and not the glass
with that said a NOTE to ALL NEWBIES....DON'T try to rush the purple coraline because it will come in time and you will grow to hate it because of the pain in the neck it causes trying to clean your glass...and the more you scrap off the faster and MORE return
just thought i would share since i had to take a break from the scraping....any ideas how to get it off easier
