Coraline scraper

The Tunze Care magnets work well. The plastic blades will get most build up & the metal blade will get the tough stuff. It's design makes it near impossible to scratch the glass (the interchangeable metal blade might be able to scratch glass if one were careless) since there is no place for sand to jam into.

Low profile but doesn't float if detached and big jobs require a little bit of hand strength.

The Tunze one is really something. I didn't quite believe the videos of sticking it in sand and causing no harm, but that is what it really can do. Magnets aren't that strong but i'd rather clean carefully and not scratch than accidentally getting something under a block and tearing up the viewing pane... Been there and done that already.

It doesn't float, but the magnet is so strong that in a year of cleaning my 1/2" glass it's never come apart. I have the regular size (between Nano and Max).

Do you use it to clean coralline ? How does it do for that?

I ended up ordering the flipper and based on the reviews I read here and other places I decided to get the middle strength one since I have a 220 with 1/2 " glass.

Thanks for the replies!

The flipper worked good for me until I had to replace the blade, now not so much.. Dont know what changed....

Edit.. looked through my Amazon Orders I have the Mag-Flip not the flipper
